Today I just did a little tweaking around the site.  Nothing special so far.

I did add a point system to award points to the "active" users of the site.  It awards points based on activity.  A user earns 3 points for posting a blog, 2 points for posting a comment, 5 points for posting to the forums... etc.  It would be nice to present a prize of some sort at each meeting to the month's most active member, or something... and the least active member wins a date with (oh nevermind).

Or possibly set up a redemption center within the site.

Just like everything else it's still in the beta stage but it looks functional.

Dinner is over, I'm back... Good thing Danny and Furby invited me over otherwise I might have just sat here working on this site and wasting away to nothing, (in about another 6 months).

So tonight I added the RSVP functionality to the calendar.  I've sent out invitations to Furby, Danny and Mikhael for the Drag Ball... it'll be interesting to see who responds.  The invites went to their email addresses registered in the site so providing they check their emails they may or may not respond.  It's just another one of my tests.  I ought to send one to myself, at least I know I'll see it and respond.  The unfortunate side of the RSVP module is you need to know your invitee's email address, the one they have registered in the site.  It would be so much more functional if you could select your attendees from a drop down list.  Maybe in a future update.

I think it's time to call it a night.  Have to save something to play with tomorrow.
